Awarding New Year gifts in Novi Sad

Center "House of Light” shared the New Year’s gifts to the children with special needs – visually impaired and blind children of elementary school "Milan Petrović" in Novi Sad. The gifts were shared in theTheatar "Pozorište Mladih" in Novi Sad. Packets were distributed on Saturday, December 27th the ceremony began at 11am.

Last year was organized a similar event which now become tradition. The idea of this action was born out of pure human needs to be human and that blind kids feel the joy of New Year holidays, receive gifts, and with them get the message that they are no forgotten and invisible. Packets were distributed after the play for children "Novogodišnji bajkodrom" where the children were met with Snežana, the good Fairy, Witch, Santa Claus, besides children at play were present and their parents.

With New Year’s gifts we awarded children of all ages from preschoolers to the oldest class.

We would like to thank the donors who have supported the humanitarian action and help to make gifts for blind children: Soko Stark, Bambi, Factory of cotton underwear “Vetema" from Arilje, Factory "Kika socks" from Loznica, “Aksa” mega kids stores and Bc group Electronics.
